A list of the world's best cities to work from home has been released, in which Singapore is placed at the top rank.

A study was released by mobile access technology company Kisi, which looked at factors including work intensity and city livability as well as quality health care, affordable cost of living, and ample time off.

Kisi analysed data from the Journal of Public Economics and World Bank.

The data was taken from 51 US metro areas and 49 major global cities with more than 130 data points on the basis of rates of overwork, access to healthcare, and safety metrics to gauge the work intensity, rights and the well-being of inhabitants.

The percentage shows jobs that can be performed remotely in each city and the feasibility of working at home for all companies. A higher percentage reflects a city with a higher number of remote job opportunities and a better infrastructure to support working from home.
