Every year the Central Business District of Sydney comes to life as all the landmarks are transformed to something unearthly. Vivid Sydney is a light festival that makes installations of immersive art and project them on iconic buildings, like the Sydney Opera House or the Customs House.

This year ten installations of animal structures will also be made to raise awareness about the endangered species.

Although the festival starts on Friday, May 27, Vivid opened its doors for a peek into what what this year's show is going to look like; and its has indeed taken immersive art to the next level!

Besides the Taronga Zoo and the Opera House, some of the other places that would be lit up are, the Botanical Garden and the 60-metres tunnel known as the 'Cathedral of Lights' that visitors could walk through.
