WATCH: Cop saves elderly man from getting crushed under train, Union Minister Piyush Goyal shares video

Train mishaps are fairly common in India. On Friday (April 2), Railways minister Piyush Goyal shared a video of the heroic act of a Railways officer.

In the video, the policeman’s bravery can be seen as he saves an elderly man from falling under a moving train. The cop is now being deemed as a hero.

In a tweet written in Hindi, Piyush Goyal wrote, “At the Sawai Madhopur station in Rajasthan, an elderly passenger was rescued from the grip of a train by quick action by the security personnel on duty. We are proud of our security personnel who are discharging their duties with full service.”

The video has since then gone viral and has garnered 37.9k views and 5.5k likes.

Moreover, people have showed loved and appreciation for the security personnel who managed to save the elderly person from getting crushed under the train.
