TikTok star applies face mask to get rid of acne, What happened next will leave you shocked

You must have applied the turmeric face mask atleast in some point of time in your life. Turmeric having medicinal and anti-septic properties is considered not just very good for consuming, but also for applying on your skin. However, in a bizarre incident a girl who applied a turmeric mask saw quite an opposite reaction on her face that left her dumbstruck.

A Scottish TikTok user was in for a bizarre experience after she applied a turmeric mask to get rid of acne but in turn was left with a strange yellow colour on her face. Lauren Rennie shared a video of the episode on TikTok and the clip has gone viral with over thousands of views.

As per the viral video, Rennie developed acne and pimples all over her face. The problem was persisting for the past few weeks. She looked online for a solution, when she hit upon the Indian beauty treatment to get rid of acne and pimples.

Soon after the TikTok star applied the turmeric face mask, she realised that the turmeric had dyed her hands yellow. She realised that her face also was left with a yellowish tinge.

"For like the last three weeks, I've had really bad skin. I've been breaking out in spots all over my face, but mainly across my lip line. And I really don't want to squeeze them because it's so so sore. So me being me, I'm researching ways to get rid of it and help my skin out. And I come across this DIY turmeric face mask that I could literally go downstairs and make right now in my kitchen. So I did. It's got benefits for like acne, wrinkles and skin irritation. So I was like yeah let's go," Lauren said in her TikTok video, The Sun reports.

The turmeric mask had left her face dyed yellow. Even when she tried to wash it off with soap and water, the colour wouldn’t budge and she looked like that for three weeks. The Tik-Tok depicting this episode has over a million views.

"But the thing is I've just applied it to my face and my entire hand has turned yellow. When I take this off I'm going to resemble the moon," Lauren said. She washed the mask off her face and said that her sister 'laughed in disgust' as her skin had turned yellow.

However, we cannot authenticate as to what exactly led to her face getting dyed after applying the turmeric face mask.
