SHOCKING: Group of women strip naked to pose on balcony, pics go viral

In a shocking incident, a group of women was arrested in Dubai, UAE, for stripping naked to pose in a balcony in broad daylight.

The footage captured from a nearby building shows several naked women posing on the balcony of a building while a man was filming them.

According to Dubai police, they have arrested “group of people who appeared in an indecent video” on charges of public debauchery.

State-linked newspaper The National reported that it seems that the women stripped naked to pose on the balcony for a publicity stunt.

The incident has left everyone shocked in Muslim-majority UAE where people have been put behind bars in the past for much tamer behaviour, like kissing in public or drinking alcohol without a license.

It is learnt that the arrested women have been referred to public prosecutors.

“Such unacceptable behaviours do not reflect the values and ethics of Emirati society,” said police in a statement.

The detained women face up to six months in prison and a fine of around £1,000 for violating UAE's public decency laws.

It is to be noted that the UAE is quite liberal as compared to its Middle Eastern neighbours but it has strict laws when it comes to social media.
