Of those 86 per cent, around 77 per cent of victims never told anyone about the incident. Now a video of Manisha Gulati who is the chairperson of Punjab State Commission for Women, consoling another woman is going viral on Instagram.
In the viral video, Manisha Gulati can be seen talking to a woman in her office. She can be heard asking, “You got slapped….are you so weak…? You are so highly qualified and got slapped?” She then held her hand and said, “your qualification is zero,” the woman then started crying.
Manisha hugged her and consoled her. The woman can be heard saying, “Mera bacha,” probably talking about her child who is 4.5 years old. While hugging her, Manisha replied, “don’t worry, I will help you getting your child.” Not only this, Manisha can be seen rubbing her back in order to calm her down.
The way the women's commission chief is consoling the woman is winning hearts on the Internet. People just can’t stop watching this video. The chief herself has shared this video from her official Insta account. More than 5.04 lakh people have liked this video.
