Pizza party in space! Astronauts enjoy pizza at International Space Station, video goes VIRAL

Being an astronaut is one of the toughest jobs to do as they travel thousands of miles into the unknown and explore the unexplored. Traveling in space has its own charm and thrill, but sometimes all the heart desires is a pizza party with some friends. Well, the astronauts in this video did just that!

In a video uploaded on Instagram a day ago, a team of astronauts can be seen enjoying a pizza night about the International Space Station, which floats over 400 km above the Earth. This video left netizens amazed and impressed.

The video has been uploaded by Thomas Pesquet on his official Instagram account one day back. Along with the video, he posted the caption, “Floating pizza night with friends, it almost feels like a Saturday on Earth. They say a good chef never reveals their secrets, but I made a video so you can be the judge. Everything but pineapple, that would be a serious offense in Italy.”

The video is one minute long, and shows Thomas, along with his colleagues, eating pizza aboard the International Space Station, in a zero-gravity environment. The astronauts can also be seen assembling and cooking the pizza, with the ingredients floating about, before their enjoyed their creation.

The video, which was uploaded just a day ago, has gone viral and has more than 7,00,000 views on Instagram, along with over 1.3 lakh liked. Users on the photo-sharing site were amazed by the video and thanked the astronaut for sharing and documenting their experiences.

One user commented, “Once you come back to Earth, you might forget to put food on the table” while another user said, “It’s funny! We also had a pizza night yesterday but they weren’t flying!”
