Uttar Pradesh Police used smart social media advertising to urge people to report their noisy neighbours having late-night parties.

The police have encouraged citizens to dial 112 to report on loud late-night parties and used the viral trend 'Pawri Ho Rahi Hai' to drive home the point.

"Late night #PawriHoRahiHai aur aap disturb ho rahe toh call karein 112," UP Police tweeted.

"Ye Hum hain aur humari car hai (This is us and our car), Agar late night pawri aapko disturb kar rahi hai toh (if late night parties are disturbing you...), Ye humara number hai 112 (This is our number 112)" it added.

The trend started after a video of Pakistani influencer and content creator Dananeer having fun with her friends on a highway in front of a car went viral.

“Yeh humari car hai, Yeh hum hain, aur yeh humari pawri ho rahi hai,"(This is our car, this is us, and this is our party) the woman says in the video.

The popularity of the video reached its crescendo when popular content creator Yashraj Mukhate added his musical touch to it. The music video became a raging hit.

Many brands decided to jump on the trend and produced many 'Party Ho rahi hai' memes.
