Nani ki dhaansu mithaai! WATCH this 95-year-old defy all odds and start her own business

Last year, many were forced to venture into new territories related to work due to the COVID-19 pandemic since a lot of people lost their jobs and had nothing to do and nowhere to go. This was also a push for those who have been wanting to do certain things for years but never had the courage or the chance. One such example of courage in such times is Nani Harbhajan Kaur and her story will inspire you to do more in life and the fact that age does not matter. 

The 95-year-old grandmother, Harbhajan Kaur, who went viral on social media started the sweet shop business five years ago at the age of 90 and to her surprise, her sweets are famous across the country. 

Five years ago, Harbhajan Kaur realised that she hadn't earned anything on her own until now and wanted to do something about it when her daughter advised her to start selling Besan Barfi (Sweet made of roasted gram flour and sugar). She took her daughter's advice and began her business, on the very first day she managed to sell six boxes and earned Rs 2,000 for the first time in her life.

Eventually, her business grew bigger as she began getting more orders with the help of Instagram. With sweets, she now also delivers chutneys, rakhi hampers across the country. She has become an Instagram star and every video that she posts get millions of views. Recently, her story was also shared on the 'Humans of Bombay' page on Instagram which garnered about 10 million views.

Unfortunately, Harbhajan Kaur got infected with COVID-19 in the second wave but recovered soon keeping her spirits high.
