We often see videos going viral on Instagram of weddings and bride and groom dancing, however, today we will show you a video of a policeman from Mumbai who is winning hearts with his stunning dance moves on social media.
The 38-year-old cop named Amol Yashwant Kamble recently went viral after netizens discovered his dancing videos and shared them on the internet. Kamble who is posted at Naigaon police headquarters makes sure to bless his fans with some striking dance moves when he is off-duty.
In a video that is currently going viral on Instagram, Kamble can be seen dancing to the song 'Aya hai raja' from the film 'Appu Raja'. The video shows Kamble dancing like there's no tomorrow on the popular song with another man accompanying him.
Speaking about the theme of his viral video, 'the dancing cop' said, "The dance was based on the theme of an on-duty policeman asking a two-wheeler rider to wear his mask properly, and later both of them show their dance moves," India.com quoted him as saying.
Kamble lives in Mahim and has been part of the Mumbai police force since 2004. He says that dance is his passion and he has been a performer since he was a kid.
"My elder brother is a choreographer and I did some dance shows with him before joining the police force. As a policeman, I have a responsibility to maintain law and order and to protect citizens first, but on my weekly offs, I dance with my children, my sister’s children, and have fun," he said.
Notably, 'the dancing cop' has also previously performed with Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan during a police event.
