This one-year-old baby became such a sensation on Instagram that it turned him into the world's youngest travel influencer.
Many influencers have come to the forefront in the era of being confined at home during a pandemic. This allowed them to expose their talents to the rest of the world. Influencers on social media have risen to prominence and carved out a position for themselves in the digital domain.
Influencers come in all forms and styles, from travel and food to health and beauty. Surprisingly, a one-year-old baby's account went popular on the internet and became the youngest travel influencer.
1-year-old baby Briggs makes close to Rs 75,000 ($1,000) a month by travelling through the United States. Briggs has considerable Instagram popularity with over 30,000 followers. His mother Jess had previously started a blog called Part Time Tourists, where she got paid to travel across the world.
After pregnancy she thought her career would be over but instead, she came across a unique and interesting idea. “My husband and I really wanted to make it work. So I started to look for social media accounts that talked about baby travel, I couldn’t find a single one! I saw a gap and decided to set up social media accounts as a fun way of sharing everything that I learned - the good and bad - of traveling with a baby, to help other first-time parents,” she told a UK tabloid.
Briggs, who was born on October 14, 2020, has already toured 16 US states, including Alaska, California, Florida, Utah, and Idaho, on 45 flights. He's been to Alaska to view bears, Yellowstone National Park to sight wolves, Utah to see the Delicate Arch, and California to explore beaches.
Previously, the family had not planned any major vacations due to the lockdown and necessary measures, but now that the restrictions have been relaxed in numerous areas, the family is planning a trip to Europe, including London, in the next six months.
