According to medical experts, Rumeysa’s unbelievable height is due to a condition caused by Weaver’s syndrome, which is a rare genetic disorder that causes rapid growth.

Besides her height, Rumeysa’s hands are 24.5 cm long and her feet measure 30.5 cm.

Rumeysa suffers several physical problems, including instability and difficulty in walking due to her height. She uses a wheelchair but is also able to walk with the help of a walking frame.

The 24-year-old said: “Every disadvantage can be turned into an advantage for yourself so accept yourself for who you are, be aware of your potential and do your best.”

Craig Glenday, editor in chief at Guinness World Records, said: “It’s an honour to welcome Rumeysa back into the record books. Her indomitable spirit and pride at standing out from the crowd is an inspiration. The category of tallest living woman is not one that changes hands very often, so I’m excited to share this news with the world.”
