As the most awaited festival of the season, the Navratri comes to an end, people have gone all out to enjoy themselves with huge Garba events in the country that could not take place last year due to COVID-19 lockdown. 

For the unversed, Garba is one of the most important elements of Navratri. Everyone takes part in Garba no matter what background you come from. It's just another excuse to come together and have fun and dance a little. But also let's not forget that COVID-19 has not completely left our sides yet and we still have to protect ourselves from getting the infection as well as spreading it. 

A video of girls wearing PPE suits as dance to the tunes of Navratri is going viral. The video is from Gujarat's Rajkot city where a group of girls were seen wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) to raise awareness about the dangers of COVID-19 at a Garba event.

In the video, a group of girls are dressed in PPE kits and masks and are seen performing Garba. For the unversed, Garba is an Indian dance form performed mainly in Gujarat region during the Navratri season. 

Speaking to ANI, the organisers said that this was their attempt to spread awareness regarding the dangers of COVID-19. "This Garba aims to spread awareness among the public about the COVID-19," said Rakshaben Boriya, organiser of the Garba event.
