Dulhan ka self-love! Woman promises to do THIS at wedding, leaves guests shocked

Marriage is considered as a holy matrimony between two people across the world and os the most celebrated event of anyone's life but unfortunately, sometimes these marriages and engagements don't work out which is sad but it also doesn't mean that the life of individuals becomes stagnant or depressed or sad.

Some marriages work out and some don't even get to go through the process and instead of going into depression or start feeling lonely one should look forward to life. This is exactly what this teacher from Australia did. Yes, the 28-year-old Patricia Christine, a teacher in Australia married herself when her engagement broke off.

When her engagement broke off eight years ago, instead of being sad she decided to move forward with her life and declared that she is her favourite person and would like to marry herself. 

She said, "After the break-up of the engagement, I realized that life is nothing more than a commitment. That's why I kept my wedding theme Self Commitment Ceremony on this concept."

For the wedding, Patricia invited her close friends and family and bought herself a wedding ring that cost her about $100 dollars. The guests present at her wedding were unaware of her plan to marry herself and were looking for the groom. 

But as she went ahead with her decision, the guests were left speechless since they never saw such a thing where a person marries themselves. 

At the wedding altar, Patricia promised to always love herself and be happy in front of everyone. She said, "I want to show women that our most important relationship is with ourselves. We spend our whole life searching for Mr Perfect and fulfilling his desires, but we can never do that for ourselves. We should learn to live for ourselves."

Post the wedding ceremony guests celebrated the occasion by having a picnic in the park. Patricia has also shared some pictures from her Instagram account during this period. She wrote in the caption of the photo, "I have said yes to marriage myself."
