Wedding videos are creating a rage on the Internet over the past few weeks and netizens are having a field day enjoying the funny, not-so-sunny, dramatic, happy videos from Indian weddings. Indian weddings showcase a gamut of emotions, especially the 'vidaai' ceremony.
In one such video that is going viral on Instagram, a bride is seen doing something during her 'vidaai' ceremony that leaves us surprised.
In Hindu weddings. during the 'vidaai', the bride throws handfuls of rice over her head once she has said her goodbyes. The 'rice throwing' tradition is a way by which the bride symbolically thanks her parents for everything they did for her since childhood. This also signifies that she will continue to pray for their material and spiritual prosperity.
However, in this video, which leaves netizens in splits, the bride seems confused and starts throwing the rice hurriedly. Relatives and guests can be heard exclaiming at the bride's gesture.
The video was shared by Om Bishnoi on Instagram Reels and netizens are wondering if the girl was forced into the marriage with one user commenting, "Shaadi jabardasti karoge toh aisa hi hoga".
