A video of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi where he is seen doing push-ups has taken over the internet on Monday ( March 1).

In the video, the Congress MP is seen doing push-ups in different styles with a student in school at Mulagumoodubn of Tamil Nadu.

While taking the challenge, Gandhi said "You are trying to embarrass me,"  as a schoolgirl puts forward the 15-push-up challenge. He completed 15 push-ups and took a step forward to make the challenge a bit more difficult and did a push-up with a single arm.

The Wayanad MP was also caught on camera dancing with students along with AICC Tamil Nadu in-charge Dinesh Gundu Rao.

Earlier, a photo of Rahul Gandhi went viral on social media after his much-talked-about dive into the sea on February 24, where his abdominal muscles (abs) were visible in a wet T-shirt.

Several popular faces acclaimed him on Twitter and sought fitness advice from the Gandhi scion.

Boxing champion Vijender Singh, who won bronze and silver medals at the Olympics and Commonwealth Games, took to microblogging site and wrote “Abs of a boxer. Most daring young fit & people’s leader. Way to go Rahul Gandhi Ji”.

Congress leader on Wednesday (February 24) took a dip into the sea with fishermen at the Thangassery beach during his election campaign in Kerala's Kollam district.

He also interacted with fishermen and remained near the sea for around two-and-a-half hours.
