What is the Bermuda Triangle where ships and people disappear without any trace

The Bermuda Triangle is located in the North Atlantic, commonly defined by three points which are Florida, Bermuda, and Puerto Rico. Though not officially recognised on maps, it remains one of the most talked about oceanic zones in the world.

In 1945, five Navy bombers known as Flight 19 disappeared during a training mission. A rescue plane also vanished. No trace was ever found, connecting this as the Triangle’s most iconic mystery.

Over the decades, ships have been found abandoned within the Bermuda Triangle with crews missing, meals uneaten, and no signs of struggle. These ghost ships make the area seem even more mysterious.

Scientists blame sudden weather shifts, strong currents, and magnetic disturbances for most disappearances. Some also suggest methane gas eruptions from the seafloor could damage ships.

Stories about aliens, time travel, and the lost city of Atlantis have made the Bermuda Triangle famous. Even though there's no science to support them, these ideas still show up in movies, books, and popular culture.
