Born on 23 November 1998 in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, Priya Saroj became one of the youngest MPs during the 2024 General Elections, winning the Machhlishahr constituency at the age of 25.

She completed her schooling at the Air Force Golden Jubilee Institute in New Delhi, earned a BA from Delhi University. She then pursued an LLB from Amity University, Noida.

Before entering politics, Priya practiced law in the Supreme Court of India, preparing for judgeship exams during the COVID-19 pandemic era.

Her father, Tufani Saroj, is a three-time Lok Sabha MP and current MLA. Priya campaigned actively in his previous runs and now continues the family’s political legacy.
