'Four More Shots Please Season 2' Story:

Four best friends cuddle up again and tell the world to sit up and pay a little more attention to what women truly want. Girls will always be girls, especially around their girls – the problems remain simple yet complicated and funny to each other. They will make new mistakes, but love each other a little more fiercely and choose themselves over society and expectations.

'Four More Shots Please Season 2' Review:

After completing 10 episodes of the show, my first reaction was 'so so so much better than season one'. Yes, absolutely! In the first season, everything was cluttered and like the girls, even I was confused with their actions and reactions. But this time, Damini, Anjana, Umang and Siddhi have matured and even dealt with the situations thrown on them similarly.

The 2019 show ended on a cliffhanger where friends parted ways after their lives turned upside down. They gathered their broken hearts and emerged stronger. Their journey for the same starts with a trip to Turkey thanks to Siddhi, who goes on a solo trip after a broken engagement and her action is noticed by her parents. They all get together, sort out their differences and are again best friends forever. The special bond which the four of them share is something which every girl desires.

Talking about each character, Damini, who was a fierce journalist, becomes a fierce author where she writes a book on something too controversial for the world. That was her professional life, which gets amalgamated with her personal life too. Yes, she again deals with both Prateik and Milind's characters and that's another trip with slight deja vu moments. She is strong, no doubt, and this time, we see her at her weakest which is portrayed by Sayani incredibly.

Coming to Anjana, she shared some comfort in this season but of course, that has to be a roller coaster ride too. Her moments with Neil and Sameer are something to look forward to, mainly because Kirti makes it realistic as ever.

Umang has the most layers once again like in the first season. Yes, Samara and she are back and both make their relationship public. But there's more to it. Be it any relationship, different or same genders, one turns out to be dominating than the others and insecurities also pave its way. The 'equality' thing plays the major game and it's unavoidable. Bani and Lisa do make for a cool couple and their chemistry is indeed palpable. Their vulnerabilities and romance have been shot aesthetically making it beautiful sequences, indeed!

Last but definitely not the least, Siddhi, oh she is such a delight to watch onscreen. Maanvi can nail the maturity and immaturity nuances like a pro. After being the cute and virgin girl in the first season, she has turned her image 360 degrees. Siddhi is strong and doesn't slip or give up in hurdles thrown at her. She is shown as the best example of self-love and makes a career with the help of it too.

Four More Shots Please season 2, obviously, has sex, more shots and everything in between. But that's not it, it's been given an amazing storyline which takes their lives forward and better. Unlike the first instalment, this has been directed by Nupur Asthana, and lo, she did a fab job, indeed! A woman saying women stories are something to watch out for and that's the need of the hour too!

Let's talk about fashion... I was fawning over the outfits worn by the actors on the show and they have been styled extremely well. Kirti's power dressing is what has caught my attention the most. The boys have played their part well too, and they do make for a catalyst in the lives of these four women. Watch this season and make lockdown your excuse to do so!

'Four More Shots Please! Season 2' Verdict:

Far better season than the first one, enough said!
