'We handled that grey area in our relationship with grace': Ravi Dubey on his fight with Nia Sharma

Ravi Dubey and Nia Sharma are one of the most favourite on-screen couples of the television industry. However, they were not on talking terms with each other for months, but now they have turned into BFFs. In a recent interview with Bollywood Bubble, Ravi was asked about his old and infamous fallout with co-star Nia Sharma on the sets of their popular television show ‘Jamai Raja’.

The ‘Jamai Raja’ actor talked about how beautifully they handled the grey area in their relationship with grace and professionalism after his fight with Nia. He further said that they both never affected their professional lives because of their personal differences. He was talking about the time when both of them hated each other and were not on talking terms. 

While speaking to Bollywood Bubble, Ravi said, “It’s just by the virtue of working together for all these years. Both me and Nia, we handled that grey area in our relationship with a lot of grace and professionalism. It never showed on screen that we weren’t necessarily talking to each other.”

Not only how they handled their clash, but Ravi also revealed the reason behind their fight. He explained, “I think it was largely to do with how we would approach work. I am highly rehearsal-obsessed but Nia is a very spontaneous actor, which works in her favour beautifully. I don’t know how that friction started, I don’t have a clear memory of it, but I am guessing this would be the reason.”

Ravi Dubey didn’t forget to mention that Nia is now one of the people he is ‘fondest’ of in the television industry. He also praised Nia for her uninhibited nature. He said, “But now, Nia is the one person in the industry that I am the fondest of and I think she has this candid, uninhibited nature, which is very rare. People mostly project something which is a more likeable version of themselves, Nia ke baare mein sabse achchi baat jo hai woh hai ki (Nia’s best quality is that) she doesn’t care.”
