Popular television producer and Bigg Boss 11's master-mind Vikas Gupta's performance on 'Khatron Ke Khiladi 9' may have been appreciated but you won't be able to see him any longer on the show. Despite completing 12 successful episodes, Vikas will be asked to make an unceremonious exit from the stunt-based show in the next episode. Why, you ask?
Well, Vikas will get disqualified after host Rohit Shetty will find out that he had been secretely taking pain killers during the show. The 'Simmba' director will be seen reprimanding him for breaking the rules of the show and also hiding such an important information from the makers.
KKK9 was ofcourse shot last year but it was only after this promo that the media found out about Vikas' disqualification. When asked to comment on the same, a regretful Vikas told TimesofIndia.com, "I have been suffering from a shoulder injury for more than 2 years now. During the helicopter jump stunt, I aggravated the nerve pain again and I was taking a pain killers to subdue the pain in the nerves and I didn't inform the team of Fear Factor about the injury."
"The pain killers also increase your heart rate, which while doing stunts can even go higher resulting in major health risks, which even I wasn’t aware of. Yes, I was disqualified from the show and rightfully so. It was a stupid thing to hide the injury. With the telecast I am hearing another round of reprimanding from my mom all over again."
This was not the first time when Vikas got a hearing from Rohit on the show. Earlier too, during a task that Vikas was considering to quit for emotional reasons, Rohit had reminded him that KKK is different from Bigg Boss and why he won't tolerate any such drama on his show.
Rohit had also once shouted on Vikas for trying to pull a prank on him. However, it was later revealed that the angry monologue was actually a part of Rohit's prank on Vikas.
