Sidharth Shukla Death: Abu Malik reveals Shehnaaz Gill asked him to convince 'Bigg Boss 13' winner to marry her

Sidharth Shukla's tragic death has left all his fans and his colleagues from the TV and film industry numb. Many of his friends are paying tribute to Sidharth on social media and remembering him fondly. Among them is music composer Anu Malik's brother Abu Malik who became Sidharth's friend after they participated in 'Bigg Boss 13'. 

Speaking to ETimes TV about Sidharth's sudden death, Abu said, "Sidharth and I were very close; he wanted me to remain in the Bigg Boss 13 house when I told him that I won't last too long in the game. He got angry and said that I should try and go ahead. And yes, we were in touch after Bigg Boss 13 too."

Abu also revealed how Sidharth had once visited his home with his friend and 'Bigg Boss 13' co-contestant Shehnaaz Gill. "We never spoke about this. They spent a lot of time listening to music and chatting with me, then," he said. 

Abu expressed grief at what Shehnaaz must be going through after hearing of Sidharth's death. Reminiscing about her, Abu also revealed that Shehnaaz had asked him to tell Sidharth that he should marry her. "Shehnaaz told me this on March 22, 2020- I think that this was just a day before the first lockdown," he said.

"Sidharth used to love her a lot. He would say that agar ek din woh naaraz ho jaati thi, toh uska din khaarab ho jaata tha," Abu added. 

Notably, Shehnaaz Gill was shooting when she heard about the actor's tragic death.
