As per reports, a UAE based man's phone number was flashed on one of the episodes of 'Sacred Games 2' starring Saif Ali Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
Sacred Games 2 released last week has been a talk of the town from the past few months. The global show which became an instant hit last year came back with the second season this year much to the excitement of the fans. Although people binge-watched the whole season they expressed their mixed reaction on social media pages. Sacred Games series is touted as a controversial show and it has been again caught in the web of the same.
As per reports in PTI, a man from UAE is getting sleepless nights as his mobile number was flashed during one of the episodes of Sacred Games 2. Although it wasn't visible on the screen, the subtitles gave it away and it has been a disturbing time for the man named Kunhabdulla CM.
Talking about the same, he stated to Gulf News, "I have been getting incessant calls on my phone for the last three days from India, Pakistan, Nepal, the UAE and around the world. I don't know what is happening."
The 37-year-old Keralite further said, "Hearing my phone ring sends shivers down my spine. I want to cancel my number. I want this problem to go away."
Kunhabdulla also revealed that he hasn't heard of the show Sacred Games, he said, "What's Sacred Games? A video game? I work from 8 am to 7 pm. I don't have time for such things. I got more than 30 calls today [Sunday] and it's draining my battery. In the last hour, I got five calls asking for someone called Isa...Who is Isa? I don't have anything to do with him."
Netflix issued an apology by releasing a statement to Gulf News. It read as "We apologise for any inconvenience caused. As soon as we were alerted to the situation, we resolved the issue and removed the phone number from the subtitles."
They have removed the number from the show.
