Rupal Patel's stint ends on the popular show, 'Saath Nibhaana Saathiya 2' which went on air in October.

The season two of Saath Nibhaana Saathiya went on air recently and actors namely Devoleena Bhattacharjee, Rupal Patel and Mohammad Nazim are the actors who have returned from the first season. While Sneha Jain and Harsh Nagar are the new entrants. Now, in a surprising twist, Rupal who plays the popular character of Kokilaben Modi on the show revealed that her stint is all set to end. During an interaction with Mumbai Mirror, Patel spoke about it.
Rupal told the tabloid, "Everything was pre-decided, and we are parting on amicable terms. I’m a National School of Drama (NSD )graduate with over 20 years of experience. I don’t need to do such small parts but only agreed to SNS 2 to show gratitude to my audience, the show, and the channel. When SNS 2 was announced, I was expected to return and I didn’t want to disappoint."
About her future projects, Rupal stated, "The Kokila journey has ended for Rupal, but Rupal’s journey is still going on. I will return in a new avatar with another strong character."
Earlier while talking about being a part of Saath Nibhaana Saathiya 2, Rupal had said, "There cannot be Saath Nibhaana Saathiya 2 without its Koki."
On being quizzed about how similar is she to Kokila, the actor said, "Of course, I’m a lot more flexible and fun. But even today, young girls tell me that they want a mother-in-law like Koki."
Before Saath Nibhaana Saathiya 2, Rupal was seen in Yeh Rishtey Hai Pyaar Ke.
