Puja Banerjee-Kunal Verma likely to postpone their much-awaited wedding due to lockdown

About a month back, Puja Banerjee took to her Instagram page and announced that after being engaged for three long years, she is all set to tie the knot with Kunal Verma soon. The couple was all set to enter marital bliss on April 15, 2020. However, it seems difficult due to ongoing lockdown. Puja and Kunal cancelled all pre-wedding festivities because of it and they hope for a registered marriage.

Talking about the same, Kunal told Bombay Times, "We are hoping to have a registered marriage on April 15, but it depends on the lockdown situation. In case it does not work out, we will postpone the wedding by 10 days. Let’s see how things go."

He further said, "My mother was very excited about the wedding and had shopped for the entire family. Ideally, she wants our shaadi to be complete with band, baaja and baraat. My heart breaks to see her dreams not getting fulfilled, but I don’t want to wait for a few more months. Puja and I are soulmates and marriage is just a signature, but the sooner it happens, the better."

Earlier while making the wedding announcement, Puja had written on her Instagram page, "Big news on this women's day I want to share this with all of you... @kunalrverma you complete me. I have been a daughter a sister, a friend, a girlfriend and now finally going to be a wife. It's time to be together forever. So we are finally getting married. Need all of your best wishes."
