Post his 'Bigg Boss 10' stint, 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' actor Rohan Mehra to return to TV with this show

Rohan Mehra, who shot to fame with his role of Naksh in popular daily soap on Star Plus Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata hai, was last seen as a contestant in Bigg Boss 10. Roham was constantly under the spotlight on the reality show hosted by Salman Khan owing to his controversial fights with the inmates of the BB house. 

Now, looks like Rohan is all set to make his comeback on Indian Television with another show. If the latest reports are to be believed, then Rohan is all set to join the cast of Colors' Sasural Simar Ka. The actor will be seen playing an NRI character called Sameer on the show. 

A report on The Times of India quoted a source as saying, "Sasural Simar Ka’ will be changing gears and the focus will now be on the younger generation. Rohan will be seen playing the male protagonist Sameer, who is an NRI from London and his entry will result in a love triangle between him and Simar’s (Keerti Gaekwad) daughters Anjali (Vaishali Thakkar) and Sanjana (Krissann Barretto). The makers have decided to introduce the new generation to infuse a new life into this long-running show.”

Furthermore, Rohan confirmed the news to TOI saying, "Yes, I am going to be a part of ‘Sasural Simar Ka’. After ‘Yeh Rishta’ and ‘Bigg Boss’ I wanted to do something different and when ‘Sasural Simar Ka’ came my way, I lapped it up immediately since it seems to be a good role and different from the ones I have played so far.”
