Nia Sharma becomes new boss lady of 'Bigg Boss OTT', makes contestants do hilarious things to impress her

After creating a lot of hype, one of TV’s hottest actresses, Nia Sharma finally entered ‘Bigg Boss OTT’ and changed the energy of the house. The day was full of fun, frolic and emotions. The episode started with Raqesh Bapat and Shamita Shetty apologising to each other. The duo had earlier fought and said they won’t play with each other. 

Shamita cries and wishes Raqesh happy birthday and the duo hug it out. Moving on, Akshara fights with boss man and boss lady Pratik Sehajpal-Neha Bhasin and said she won’t do her duties. Just as all this was happening, Nia makes her 'dhamaakedar' entry into the house wearing a golden gown. She shimmied her way into the ‘BB OTT’ house and danced to the tunes of her new song ‘Do Ghoont’.

Nia receives a warm welcome from the housemates and also wishes Raqesh on his birthday. Bigg Boss then ends Pratik-Neha’s term as captains and makes Nia the new boss lady of the house. The actress gives connections feedback on how they’re doing and what should they do to better their performance.

In the last episode, Nishant Bhatt and Moose Jattana were the first contenders to become the new bossman and boss lady.  To choose the next pair for captaincy, contestants were given a task to impress Nia who would then award them golden coins.

Nia’s entry seemed to cheer the contestants up and put them in a good mood as they left no stone unturned to entertain her and the viewers as well. To start the task, Neha gave Pratik an oil massage whereas Raqesh spoke about himself and Shamita Shetty. Raqesh shared that he indeed doesn’t understand a lot of things on the show and was dyslexic since a child and learned things slowly. He asked other people to not make fun of him.

Next up were Millind Gaba and Akshara who performed a comedy show for Nia which was loved by her. To take things up a notch, singer Neha imitated other contestants of the house and made everyone splits into laughter.

Bigg Boss then sends a cake for Raqesh Bapat for his birthday. Later, connections have to save their coins from each other and viewers got to witness a fun fight between the contestants. Towards the end of the episode, Shamita gets pissed with Raqesh who then along with Neha tries to make her mood better.

It was only Nia’s first day in the ‘Bigg Boss OTT’ house and we will have to wait and see how dynamics change in her presence,
