Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC 13) is one of the most loved shows on television. For the 'Shaandaar Shukravaar' episode today, Riteish Deshmukh and his wife Genelia D'Souza were participants in the show to raise money for children suffering from cancer.
During the episode, the actors also shared their experiences in the industry and Genelia especially spoke about her first advertisement opposite Amitabh Bachchan. Reminiscing about that time, Big remembered how they shot for the ad together and requested a close-up of Genelia but not with him.
During this, Riteish credited Big B for his marriage with Genelia and said, "Had you not put the close-up that day, we might have not gotten married. Because of the close-up, she and I did our first film together. It's all because of that one close-up you put up."
Notably, Riteish and Genelia met during their debut film 'Tujhe Meri Kasam' in 2003. After dating each other for many years, the couple tied the knot on February 3, 2012. Riteish and Genelia are parents to two sons, Rahyl and Riaan.
The highlight of the show was when Riteish serenaded Genelia with dialogues from Amitabh Bachchan's iconic films.
Riteish could be seen going down on one knee and giving a romantic twist to Amitabh Bachchan's iconic dialogue from 'Shahenshah'. Riteish said, "Rishte mein toh hum tumhare pati lagte hai, lekin naam hai Genelia cha naura (I am your husband, but my name is Genelia’s husband)."
In addition to being an emotional roller-coaster, this episode of 'KBC 13' is also all set to bring in a smile on your face courtesy of Riteish and Genelia's romance.
