Television's one of the most popular shows Kaun Banega Crorepati hosted by megastar Amitabh Bachchan in its episode from Monday had contestant Pradeep Kumar Sood from Amritsar on the hot seat. While the self-confessed fitness freak and a foodie managed to answer quite a lot of questions, he struggled with the answer to the 13th question worth Rs 25 lakh.
The question was, "The point on Earth that’s farthest from land is named after which fictional character of Indian origin?"
The options were Robinson Crusoe, Captain Ahab, Captain Nemo, and Phileas Fogg and Sood was unable to give the right answer which was Captain Nemo.
Apart from this, there was a moment in the show which made Amitabh Bachchan emotional. Pradeep shared how his mother has been dreaming of seeing him sitting on the hot seat for the last 20 years. His mother filled several notebooks every year reading the newspaper so that Pradeep would be selected for KBC.
After listening to Pradeep's story, Amitabh said, " Whenever someone talks about mothers, I get emotional."
