The latest contestant who became a participant on Kaun Banega Crorepati 12 is Ankita Singh. An engineering graduate, the contestant is a banker hailing from Bilai, Chhattisgarh. During her stint on the quiz game, Ankita went on to take a lifeline for the very first contestant making her the first one to do so. However, she went to excel during the game and even attempted the Rs 25 lakh question. But, Singh failed to answer it and took Rs 12.50 lakh home.

The question which made Ankita quit KBC 12 was "Who was the first Indian civilian to fly the F16 Falcon fighter aircraft in India?" The options were: J R D Tata, Ratan Tata, Rajiv Gandhi and Rajesh Pilot. As no lifelines were not left, she did not take a risk and quit the game. The right answer was Ratan Tata. 

Before playing the game, Ankita answered the Fastest Finger First Question within four seconds which made her reserve her place on the hot seat. 

Ankita wished to pursue an MBA. But due to the financial conditions at her home, she couldn't do so and attempted bank exams instead. She also revealed about her parents' abusive marriage and helped her mother getting a divorce from her father. 

Amitabh Bachchan also praised Ankita Singh for her positive outlook towards life. 

After Ankita quit the show, Farhat Naz from Rai Bareli has become the next contestant. She will be continuing the game on Wednesday's episode and play her game to win the ultimate prize.
