'Kaun Banega Crorepati 13': Former IFS officer Manju Seth fails to answer THIS question for Rs 80,000, take home Rs 40K

Manju Seth also narrated the incident when she met former Prime Minister of India, Indira Gandhi in their office building.

Today’s episode of ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati 13’ started with former IFS officer Manju Seth, who had served India for several years as a diplomat. Manju shared a few anecdotes from her career with Amitabh Bachchan, one even about the time she met former Prime Minister of India, Indira Gandhi. 

Manju shared that she had always been inspired by Indira Gandhi and wanted to wear elegant sarees and meet people around the world. She then decided to study for the civil services exams and cleared them. When Big B asked if she ever met Gandhi, Seth replied with a yes and said she can never forget that moment. 

Manju shared that when she joined the office, Indira Gandhi’s office was I the South block only and one day while leaving from office, she saw the former PM waiting for the lift. According to Manju, Gandhi was so gracious and greeted her nicely. 

Manju had was a little flustered by the hot seat and used all her lifelines by the time she reached question eight. Here is the question for Rs 80,000, along with it’s photo:

The four options were: A) Khushwant Singh, B) Raja Rao, C) Nirad C Chaudhri and D) RK Narayan.

The correct answer was C) Nirad C Chaudhri which the former diplomat was unable to answer. She quit the game and took home Rs 40,000.

The second contestant on ‘KBC 13’ was Dr Monica who is a dentist. She shared that she is now preparing for the civil services exams as she wants to become an IAS officer to complete her mother’s dream. 

Dr Monica revealed that she had separated from her husband in 2018 and was broken by that. She further shared that her mother was her pillar of support but any women don’t have that support and she wants to be an inspiration for them.

Swiftly answering all questions, Manju reached till question 12 for Rs 12.5. Here is the question:

The four options were: A) Uranus, B) Saturn, C) Jupiter and D) Mars

As she had no lifelines left, Manju decided to quit the show and took home Rs 6.4 lakhs.

On Friday’s episode, Olympic gold medalist Neeraj Chopra and India hockey team goalkeeper P.R. Sreejesh will play on the hot seat.
