Amitabh Bachchan’s super hit quiz show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ has changed the lives of countless people and also serves as a learning platform for many. As the show starts with its 13th season, it will witness its first crorepati in the visually impaired contestant Himani Bundela.
In the latest promo shared on the SonyLIV platform, it was shown that Himani managed to win Rs 1 crore and is also ready to risk everything as she tries her luck for the 16th question to win Rs 7 crore.
The video starts with a short introduction of Himani, who says she wants to help other people like and establish schools. Later, Himani answers the 15th question and wins the grand prize of Rs 1 crore. Big b then proceeds to ask her the Rs 7 core question. She says, “Darr lag raha hai, agar galat hua toh. Lekin mann keh raha hai ki answer do, yahi answer hai (I am scared that I may answer this wrong, but my heart wants me to answer nonetheless. This is the answer).”
In another promo, Himani celebrates her victory of winning Rs 1 as fake money notes fall on her her. Himani’s father can be seen wiping his tears with happiness and says he is proud of his daughter. She then asks Big B to lock the question and says, “Agar neeche giri toh koi baat nahi, bhagwan ki marzi hai (If I lose the amount then it’s fine, it will be God’s wish).”
The contestants for the show were chosen totally online for the second year in a row. Everything was done online due to the Covid-19 epidemic, from registration to auditions. Unlike past years, the performance will have a live audience in the studio this year. As a result, one of the most popular lifelines, Audience Poll, has made a comeback.
