Amitabh Bachchan joked with a ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati 13 participant’ named Sumit Kaushik, who is determined to be an IAS officer, that if he ever makes a 'mistake,' he will be spared. Sony Entertainment Television has released a new promo for the show online.

Sumit stated that if he passes the entrance exams to become an IAS officer, he will definitely inform the KBC 13 host. Amitabh jokingly said, “IAS mein sahi kaam kijiyega aur kabhi bhi humse galti ho jaaye toh pakadiyega mat (Do good work when you become an IAS officer and spare me if I ever make a mistake).” Blushing, Sumit replied, “Nahi, nahi (No, no), sir.”

Sumit, a Delhi resident, won a prize of Rs. 25 lakh on KBC 13. He got stumped by a history question worth 50 lakh and decided to leave the show. The question he couldn't answer was: The residents of Malana village in Himachal Pradesh think they are descendants of which ruler's warriors, and they consider themselves to be one of the world's oldest democracies.

Alexander, Porus, Prithviraj Chauhan, and Maharana Pratap were the four choices. Alexander was the correct answer.

Every Friday, ‘KBC 13’ hosts a celebrity visitor. Amitabh's Sholay co-star Hema Malini appeared alongside their director Ramesh Sippy in the most recent Shaandaar Shukravaar episode. Dharmendra made an appearance via video conferencing as well.
