'Kasautii' actor Parth Samthaan's father passes away

'Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2' lead Parth Samthaan's father passed away in a Pune hospital on Friday. Parth, who was busy shooting for the show in Mumbai, rushed to Pune after he got a call from his family about his ailing father. 

However, as per an India Today report, unfortunately Parth could not make it in time. His father Mr. Laghate (Parth Samthaan was born Parth Laghate) breathed his last before his son could reach Pune. 

The report further suggests that his 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay' team packed up after they got to know about Parth's father's demise and a few of them are also planning to travel to Pune to be with him. 

Parth has always been extremely guarded about his personal life. He rarely shares pictures of his family members. So much so, that even the names of his family members are not available on any public platform till now. 

He recently bought a house in Mumbai and gifted to his parents. The actor's family is settled in Pune.
