Pavitra and Eijaz, who have often shared a hug on the show, were recently seen kissing one another too. While Pavitra is a Hindu, Eijaz belongs to the Muslim community.

"We underline that the show is spreading vulgarity and is hurting the social morality of the country. The show is against the cultural ethos of the country and highly objectionable intimate scenes are a part of it. This reality show is promoting and encouraging Love Jihad, which is highly unacceptable. We strongly demand to ban the reality show Bigg Boss," the notice sent by Karni Sena to Colors TV read.

Netizens demanded a ban on 'Bigg Boss 14' ever since the show started, but because Salman Khan was hosting the show. They were upset and considered him a product of nepotism, thus demanding to boycott the show.

Karni Sena has now given the same threat, stating that they would take to social media and if needed, the streets, to protest against the show. The group has demanded a censor or ban on 'Bigg Boss 14'.

"It is to be noted that while some have taken to social media to express their anger over the TV show, if the show is not censored or banned, Shri Rajput Karni Sena will take to the streets to protest against it. Such serials which promote love jihad should be banned with immediate effect. The show promotes disharmony and religious conversion and hence, it is warranted to be banned in the national interest," the letter stated.

Another recent incident that irked the netizens was when a contestant Jaan Kumar Sanu hurt the sentiments of Marathi speaking people. Jaan had asked his nemesis Nikki Tamboli to not speak in Marathi, during the show. He then apologized on National Television for hurting sentiments of the viewers.
