Kapil Sharma meets Navjot Singh Sidhu in Amritsar; photos go viral

It's been more than a year since Navjot Singh Sidhu was replaced on The Kapil Sharma Show by Archana Puran Singh. The cricketer-turned-politician left the show in 2019. However, Kapil Sharma often mentions Sidhu and jokingly accuses Archana of taking his place. Moreover, we have seen the comedian-actor dressing up as Sidhu during one of the sequences. Kapil is currently in Amritsar and he made a point to meet Navjot Singh Sidhu at his home.

Kapil took to his Instagram page and shared a series of photos clicked at Sidhu's home. In the photos, they are relishing food, chitchatting and even hugging each other while seeing off. Kapil captioned his post stating, "Meeting @navjotsinghsidhu paji n eating #pranthas after a long time #amritsar #punjab #punjabi #goodtimes #brothers #foodie thank you for all your love n extra-large meals paji."

Earlier during an Instagram live session, Archana shared her thoughts on replacing Sidhu on The Kapil Sharma Show. She reportedly said, "I understand that there are lots of Sidhu fans and I don’t have any hassle. It is a job and I have not taken his chair. Another thing I want to add is that Kapil says in the show that ‘Apne Sidhu ki chair le li’ agar Kapil serious hota toh kya mai hasti uske upar, ya woh uske bare mai joke banate. It is funny either it is so true that the audience understands ya woh sach se itna door hota hai ki ridiculous hota hai."
