Confirming that his wife Ginni Chatrath and he are expecting their second child, Kapil, during a question and answer session on Twitter said that he wants to be their with his wife at a time when his wife is pregnant. Kapil was replying to a fan's question about his show going off-air when he made the surprising announcement in a subtle way.
When a fan asked him "@KapilSharmaK9 sir, show off air kyu kr rhe h #askkapil (sic)", the actor-comedian replied, "bcoz I need be there at home with my wife to welcome our second baby."
A week ago, several media reports suggested that after many months 'The Kapil Sharma Show' is set to go off the air. A report in TellyChakkar stated that The Kapil Sharma Show will go off air soon and is likely to return with a new season. And now, Kapil confirmed the news with a tweet that stated that his wife is pregnant and that he needs to be at home with her when asked by a fan why is the show going off air?
Meanwhile, Kapil is all set to make his digital debut with a Netflix original and the announcement was made earlier this year.
He wrote on his Instagram page, "This is the auspicious news. Don’t believe rumours guys, only, believe me, I’m coming to @netflix_in. Soon!"
In a statement, Kapil had said, "I am super excited for my first-ever association with Netflix. 2020 has been a bumpy ride for everyone around the world and my motive is to make people forget their worries and welcome this new year with love, laughter and positivity. I always wanted to be on Netflix but I didn’t have their number (hahaha). It’s a project close to my heart and I cannot wait to share more details with my fans soon."
However, The Kapil Sharma Show fans will definitely wait for the comedian to come back with a new season on television.
