Jerry Seinfeld says 'Seinfeld' revival is possible

In the season of revivals, Jerry Seinfeld has stirred up something new with changing his tone about bringing back his widely popular sitcom Seinfeld.

Earlier in an interview with Entertainment Tonight, the comedian had said that instead of tampering with 'something that went pretty well' why not just enjoy it.

But while promoting his Netflix show Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, he seems to have changed his tone.

Ellen DeGeneres asked him, "Do you think, Jerry, there would be a possibility that Seinfeld would come back?"

Seinfeld let out those hopeful words, "It's possible."

The crowd erupted in cheers!

Revival trend began with Netflix backing up the sequel version of popular comedy Full House into Fuller House (which is in its third season on the streaming platform). The trend seems to have picked up when the revived version of Will & Grace aired last year, making it one of the contenders for Best Comedy Show for Golden Globes 2018.

Star Trek: Discovery, The Tick, Twin Peaks, Gilmore Girls are other successful shows that are enjoying popularity one more time.

Roseanne, Heathers, Tremors, Murphy Brown and other are ready to follow the trend.

Apart from letting that revival bomb tick off, Seinfeld revealed what happened when he offered some advice to the queen of daytime talk shows.

“On my show, I like to tell people what to do. They tell me what’s going on in their life, and I go, ‘Well, I’ll tell you what I think you should do.’ And I said to you, ‘Would you like my advice about Portia [de Rossi, Ellen's wife) getting another horse?’ And Ellen did not want my advice, but she was just trying to be nice, so she went, ‘Eh, okay,’ the way only she can do it.”
