'I endorse the idea that India is in USA', Hina Khan elated on being a part of Independence Day Parade in New York

Hina Khan is currently in New York where she celebrated Independence Day. She left for the US last week and has been sharing photos and videos enjoying her time at Big Apple along with her beau Rocky Jaiswal. Hina has made her mark around the globe by making her debut at Cannes Film Festival this year and now hoisting Indian national flag in New York. Today, the actor shared a series of photos and videos taken during the Independence Day Parade.

Hina stunned in a beautiful red and white striped saree with black-golden border and a simple black blouse. She opted for a black bindi and minimal golden earrings. While sharing photos and videos from the parade, Hina penned a heartfelt note stating, "Representing your country is always a pleasure and if you get to do it in one of the most powerful countries of the world .. well, there can not be a privilege better than that!"

She added, "Holding the tricolour for my beloved country... I endorse the idea that India is in the U.S.A and the idea it represents, humbly appreciate the warmth and inclusiveness of the people and this great atmosphere. Jai Hind! Hindostan Zindabad! Always, humeshaa..."

Earlier while talking about being a part of Independence Day parade in New York, Hina had told indianexpress.com, "Honestly, I was blown away. A lot of good things are happening whether it is this honour or the fact that I walked the Cannes red carpet. I am going to represent my country at the 73rd Independence Day celebration in New York. So, it feels great."
