Hina Khan wants people to hate her as Komolika in 'Kasautii Zindagi Kay 2', here's why

Hina Khan’s entry as Komolika in Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 has created a buzz because her predecessor Urvashi Dholakia had made the character iconic in the original. Hina agrees, but promises that her Komolika will be different. She says, “Each actor has their own way of playing a character. Also in this case, Ekta Kapoor has a vision which is different.”   

After playing the sweet bahu Akshara in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, she says playing a vamp is challenging. “As an actor, I haven’t explored the negative side before and there are a lot more layers when it comes to the anti-heroine. I’m sure it’s going to be an interesting experience and challenging too because rather than winning people’s love, you want them to hate you,” she reasons. 

Ask her if she had seen the original and she admits that it was one of the most-watched shows in her house. “I remember watching it in my school days with my mom and grandmother. It was an amazing show, with iconic characters. I really hope we repeat history and make this show the best and give it good ratings,” she signs off.
