Gurucharan Singh aka Roshan Singh Sodhi reveals the reason why he left ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’

Famous for ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’, Gurucharan Singh, also known as Roshan Singh Sodhi, who left the famous sitcom in 2020, has now revealed why he left. Gurucharan Singh was recently asked if rumors that he was leaving the show owing to payment delays were genuine. The actor, on the other hand, remained silent on the subject.

“Hum pyaar mohabbat se aage badhna pasand karna chahte hain (I want to move forward with love and respect.). There are some other reasons I don’t want to talk about,” Gurucharan Singh told ET Times.

 

In addition, the actor claimed that his father had surgery around the time he left the show. He refused to give further information about the same and added, “Well, my Dad had undergone surgery around the time I quit the show. There were a few other things I had to address and life went on. There were a few other reasons I quit but don’t want to talk about that. Whatever work I had done until Covid-19 hit, we worked together with love and affection as a team.”

“God knows, I don't know,” Singh replied when asked if he will return to Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. I shall return if rab ki marzi hogi toh. For the time being, though, there is nothing of the sort. I hadn't anticipated or planned anything this time, either; it just happened.”

For the unversed, In a shocking turn of events, Ghanshyam Nayak, who starred as Nattu Kaka in ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ for many years, passed away. The renowned actor died after a long battle with cancer and chemotherapy.
