A lot has been discussed about the prequel to blockbuster show Game of Thrones. The makers have left no stone unturned in keeping even the minutest details of the show under wraps. However, several BTS stills like one of Naomi Watts looks from the show were leaked which increased the excitement in fans. Now as per reports in Deadline, it's happy news for the crazy fans of the crazy show, a new GoT Prequel will showcase the "beginning of the end of House Targaryen" and 300 years before the Game of Thrones events took place.

However, HBO has denied the reports. It is stated that the prequel will not be the sixth of GoT, but a brand new take on the mythical world. Giving out hints on this new prequel, the author of Game of Thrones series, George RR Martin wrote on his blog, "We have had five different Game of Thrones successor shows in development at HBO, and three of them are still moving forward nicely."

While earlier he had penned, "Two other shows remain in the script stage but are edging closer. What are they about? I cannot say. But maybe some of you should pick up a copy of Fire & Blood and come up with your own theories." Unlike Game of Thrones, which was based on Ice & Fire, the prequel is based on his book Fire & Blood.

The pilot episode of the first prequel of Game of Thrones is nearing its airing and fans in no time is set to go berserk as their favourite show is set to be back. Moreover, the reports also suggest that the history of the Houses will be shown in the prequel but none of the characters will be back as it's set 300 years back.
