It's World Environment Day today and Sourabh Raaj Jain, who is popular for his role as Lord Krishna in Mahabharat spoke exclusively about how he feels that if love, care and compassion are provided to all humans and animals alike, the environment and surroundings we are a part of can become a much better place to be in! He shared his thought on compassion and how it's needed to be shown to every being on this planet.

Sourabh stated, "Compassion doesn't end at only us human beings and those who are near and dear to us, but it should be shown to every being who is living on this planet along with us. Be it human beings, or animals or any other aspects of mother nature, each one of us here has an important part to play to help balance out the ecosystem in a correct manner, so we must show care, love, kindness and compassion to keep that balance intact."

He added, "The atrocities that have been happening off late are due to the lack of love and compassion towards nature, which in turn is backfiring on us in the process! So we need to stop and reflect, see where we are going wrong and correct our mistakes to make our surroundings a happier place to live in not only for us but for the animals, the plants and other beings who are sharing the planet along with us too!"

Sourabh also played the role of Lord Shiva in Mahakali
