Producer-director, queen of the Hindi television industry and the head honcho of Balaji Telefilms, Ekta Kapoor was robbed of Rs 60,000 recently.

Yes, Ekta, who has now filed a police complaint at the Juhu police station, realised that from an amount of Rs 1.5 lakh, cash of Rs 60 thousand was missing from her bag.

According to reports, the incident took place on Saturday, while it came to Ekta Kapoor's knowledge only recently after she picked up her bag and felt it lighter than it should have been.

Soon, a case was lodged under Section 379 of IPC (Indian Penal Code) by the police.

However, if reports are to be believed, no arrest has been made so far.

Mid-Day quoted a source as saying, "On counting the cash, she realised that 60,000 was missing. She approached the Juhu police station and filed a complaint."

The news was confirmed by ACP Dattatray Pandurang Bhargude, who was quoted as saying, "It could be the handiwork of someone working in Ekta's Juhu bungalow. The  accused will be arrested soon."

According a report, a team of three police officers has been formed to investigate the case.

Till now, five people have been questioned including Ekta Kapoor's domestic help and car driver.

Reports further suggest that bank account details and the addresses of the five suspects have been taken and the police officers are scanning the details to find out who the culprit is.

Even the CCTV footage from Ekta's bungalow is being scanned to figure out if someone else had entered her residence and robbed the money.
