Ex Bigg Boss contestant, Mandana Karimi's five month old marriage with businessman Gaurav Gupta is in trouble. The Iranian model turned actress has filed domestic violence case at Andheri Magistrate court on Monday. According to Mid-day report, Mandana has asked for maintenance to the extent of Rs 10 lakh per month for her basic needs, necessities and requirements, besides a compensation of Rs 2 crore for the trauma and agony caused, and the loss of career and business.

Mandana's petition claims that Gaurav insisted to her conversion to Hinduism ahead of their wedding and even asked her to quit her acting profession which seemed 'incompatible o his family's status in the society'. The actress even claimed that her husband has barred her entering into their house and how she was also harassed by her mother in law. According to Mid-Day report, Karimi said," I was thrown out of my matrimonial house seven weeks ago. I made desperate attempts to reconcile with them, but my in-laws didn't allow me back. Gaurav has cut me off." Mandana has been on a nostalgic trip on Instagram, remembering the wedding celebrations.
