Bigg Boss 18: Netizens slam Salman Khan, makers for wrongly targeting Karan Veer Mehra, say 'script fail ho gaya'

In the Saturday episode of Weekend Ka Vaar, Salman Khan grilled Karan Veer Mehra over the Ticket To Finale task and asked him why he didn't play for himself, instead of playing for Chum Darang. The superstar also questioned Karan for blaming Vivian Dsena for injuring Chum during the second part of the task.

When Karan was answering Salman's questions with his confidence, the latter kept on interrupting him and didn't even let him present his arguments. The netizens slammed the makers and Salman on social media for setting false narratives against Karan and called it "the worst Weekend Ka Vaar ever."

One X (formerly Twitter) user shared the video how Khan spreaded lies against Karan and wrote, "Salman either didn't do his homework or makers felt the hype surrounding Karan Veer Mehra has damaged the confidence of other contestants, especially Vivian. By far, he's the smartest BB18 contestant & makers needed endless lies to counter that", while another added, "The only person who stood firm on his principles and didn't bend to the makers' narrative. Proud to stand by you, Karan Veer Mehra."

A user on Reddit wrote, "Salman bluffed so many times saying, "Main clip dikhaoon?", on the question of whether Karan Veer Mehra used woman card during the task, but never actually came through on his threat because he knows he had an empty hand. So glad that Karan stood his ground against this 60-year old misogynist criminal man-child."

Meanwhile, the Sunday episode of Weekend Ka Vaar will see another eviction. As per reports, Chahat Pandey has been eliminated and seven contestants will go in the final week of the show - Rajat Dalal, Vivian Dsena, Avinash Mishra, Shilpa Shirodkar, Karan Veer Mehra, Chum Darang, and Eisha Singh. The Bigg Boss 18 Grand Finale is set to take place on January 19.
