In a shocking piece of news, actor Sidharth Shukla passed away on Thursday after he suffered a cardiac arrest. The news was confirmed by news agency ANI which put out a tweet saying the Mumbai Police has confirmed that the 'Bigg Boss 13' winner died this morning.

As soon as the news broke, Sidharth Shukla's friends and colleagues from the film and television world took to their social media handle to express shock and disbelief. Celebrities mourned thew actor's tragic death which has left a void in the industry. 

"It is really really sad. Beyond words…#SiddharthShukla," tweeted actor Rajeev Khandelwal.

Former cricketer Virendra Sehwag tweeted, "Another reminder of how fragile life is. Heartfelt condolences to #SiddharthShukla 's family and friends. Om Shanti"

"Shocked beyond words!! Gone toooooo soon…. Condolences to his family, loved ones. - He was loved by millions. #SiddharthShukla you will be missed - rest in peace brother. Om Shanti," tweeted Reteish Deshmukh.

"Shocked and sad to know about Sidharth Shukla. Gone too soon. Prayers. Rest in peace," actor-comedian Sunil Grover tweeted. 

"OMG!!! This is So Shocking!!! Words will fail to describe the shock and sense of loss of his near and dear ones !!! May he res in peace !!! No yaar !!!!" Manoj Bajpayee wrote on Twitter.

Sidharth Shukla was 40 years old. In 2008, he made his acting debut with a lead role in the television show Babul Ka Aangann Chootey Na on Sony TV opposite Aastha Chaudhary. recently, he had appeared on dance reality show 'Dance Deewane 4' with 'Bigg Boss 13'; contestant Shehnaaz Gill, as a guest. He had also appeared as a guest on Bigg Boss OTT.
