Salman Khan's reality TV show Bigg Boss is one of the most awaited shows on the small screen, and audience is waiting with bated breath for its 12th season to air from September 16.

The show that gives you a mix of all things possible- be it romance, drama, masala, entertainment and controversy, has a strong fan base, and hence, bags massive TRPs each year.

However, the TRPs might fluctuate as the show which earlier aired in the 10:30 pm slot has now been shifted to the prime time this season, and will face the four popular shows- Kaun Banega Crorepati, Kumkum Bhagya, Aladdin Naam Toh Suna Hoga and Krishna Chali London

All the shows maintain a good position among the top 20 in BARC India's viewership list.

Bigg Boss has been known for bedroom romance, fights, racist comments, abuse, friendships and the sexed up acts, but with the slot change, we wonder if some of these things will go missing.
As prime time will include viewers of all age, the show might have to cut down these elements and make it suitable for the family audience.

The makers have to be more considerate this time while editing episodes, and hence here's a list of elements that might go missing from the show owing to the slot change:

1. Romance: This has always been a part of the show. From Tanishaa Mukerji and Armaan Kohli's close moments to Benafsha Soonawaklla-Priyank Sharma and Bandgi Kalra-Puneesh Sharma getting intimate under one blanket last year, all these celebrities got cosy on the show and made it to the headlines. Moreover, several contestants were even seen going inside the bathroom together over the seasons. However, now with the slot change, this element might go missing.

2. Offence, Abuse and Insult: The Salman Khan show has hardly had an episode without quarrels. And with fights and arguments, comes abuses and insults which the contestants hurl at each other. Even though the makers beep out the words, these fights happen nevertheless. But due to the time shift, the makers will have to filter a lot of things apart from the abusive word.

3. Sexist and Racist Comments: Most of the contestants on the show have never refrained from making sexist and racist comments. In the last season, Bigg Boss 11, Akash Dadlani and Arshi Khan kept on commenting about Vikas Gupta's sexuality. Also Manveer Gurjar couldn't stop calling Rohan Mehra 'chammak challo'. Shilpa Shinde and Arshi were also caught by the cameras when they called Hina Khan 'black'. Comments like should never have been acceptable, and with the change in time slot, this surely has to be looked into.

These factors generally add up to the TRP of the show, and with the change in the time slot, we wonder how the new season (Bigg Boss 12) will be affected.
