Bigg Boss 12: Dipika Kakar's hubby Shoaib Ibrahim says she has already made him proud, here's why
Earlier, Shoaib Ibrahim and Dipika Kakar, both were going to enter the 'Bigg Boss' house. However, due to personal reasons, ony Dipika decided to be a part of the show
The Sasural Simar Ka actress Dipika Kakar, who is now a part of Salman Khan’s television reality show Bigg Boss 12, is playing strong in the show.
Dipika, who is very active and can be seen taking initiatives in all the activities in the Bigg Boss house, was however recently blamed of dominating the other contestants.
Interestingly, earlier their were speculations that Dipika will be accompanied by husband Shoaib Ibrahim on the show, but later the couple confirmed that only the actress is going to participate.
However, on the night of the premiere of Bigg Boss 12, Shoaib came to see her off.
Recently Shoaib, who got hitched to Dipika Kakar only six months ago, in an interview with indianexpress.com, talked in detail about Dipika’s performance in the Bigg Boss house.
He also said that he really misses his wife.
He said, “The entire family has always enjoyed watching Bigg Boss. And now with Dipika on the show, it’s only become special. Not just the episodes, we have also been regularly watching the uncut footages. It’s been just a few days and she has already made us really proud. She has been looking great and taking stands where it’s needed. I am really sure she will do well.”
Further Shoaib revealed that he and Dipika were asked to participate in the show together.
He said, “Our families need at least one of us to take care of things. It wouldn’t have been possible for both of us to go. We collectively took a decision that it was the right time for Dipika to participate in the show, both career-wise and personally. While she will find a new side to her personality in the house, I am trying to find mine while taking care of everything in her absence.”
As part of the captaincy task, Dipika Kakar, Kriti Verma and Roshmi Banik were nominated for the position of a captain. But Dipika lost the task, and so Roshmi- Kriti became the first pair of captains of the Bigg Boss house.
