'Bigg Boss 12' December 19, 2018 Written Update: Surbhi Rana becomes the first contestant to enter the BB 12 finale week

The episode begins with Day 93 when Dipika Kakar and Romil Chaudhary are having a major argument about whom to save between Karanvir Bohra and Surbhi Rana during the Bigg Boss Fire Station task. While Dipika is adamant that Surbhi should be saved, Romil is favouring KV. After a long argument, Romil finally agrees to save Surbhi and tells Bigg Boss that he considers Surbhi as his sister and he’s got a chance to do something for her so he’s agreed to save her. KV’s picture gets half a cross and he’s out of the race to be contenders for ticket to finale week.

KV comes to Dipika and thanks her. Sreesanth wants to go inside the van next and so does Somi and KV. Romil calls Somi in his place, Dipika gives her place to Surbhi in the van. At 8:15 pm the next buzzer goes and Bigg Boss announces that the housemates should abide by the rules of the task and not try to find loopholes in the task. He also announces that since Somi is already out of the task, if Surbhi and Somi don’t arrive at a conclusion mutually, then both the pictures that appear in flames will get half cross mark and will be out of the task.

The two pictures that appear next in flames are those of Surbhi and Romil. Surbhi tries her best to convince Somi. Somi is in two minds as both Romil and Surbhi are her friends. Finally, Somi agrees with Surbhi and saves her. Half a cross is placed on Romil’s picture and he’s out of the task. Somi gives her seat in the van to Deepak and Surbhi gives hers to Sreesanth. Somi tells Romil that she doesn’t want Sreesanth or Dipika to win the contendership for finale week, so a better choice as per her is Surbhi.

Deepak Thakur is quite miffed with Somi’s decision to agree with Surbhi and not saving Romil as per their pact. Sreesanth and others keep on discussing whose pictures will appear next. On the next buzzer, Sree and Dipika’s pictures appear in flames. While Deepak wants to save Sree, Sree says that he will stand by his sister and save Dipika as he thinks that she’s more deserving than him. Another half of the cross is placed on Sree’s pic and he also gets eliminated from the task. The Bigg Boss fire station task gets over and Surbhi, Deepak and Dipika win the contendership for the ticket to finale week.

Karanvir is visibly upset and is seen crying in the powder room while Deepak is singing his song ‘Mora’ from Gangs of Wasseypur.

Later, Sreesanth shows a cake made of halwa in one of the cameras and says that it’s for his wife’s birthday. Romil and Deepak start taking a dig at all the birthdays that Sreesanth has celebrated inside the Bigg Boss house.

On Day 94, the Bigg Boss 12 housemates wake up to the tunes of the song Aati Kya Khandala at 8 am. Dipika and Sree are seen playing a ‘play/pause’ game while the wake up song plays. Sreesanth is sitting in the bedroom, remembering his cricketing days when Deepak starts singing another song about the world cup match he played for the country. Dipika comes to Sree and tries to calm him down as Sree breaks down in tears. Surbhi gets up and leaves the room, she says that whenever she says anything on sensitive things, there’s a controversy that gets created.

Romil and Deepak accuse Somi of stabbing them in the back in the BB fire station task.

In the afternoon, Karanvir reads out the rules for the ticket to finale week task. Dipika, Surbhi and Deepak have to guard a giant clock that is kept in the garden area. They have to sit with their back to the clock and wear a headphone. They have sit there and guard the clock for 33 minutes while the other contestants will try to distract them. The contestant who will get up from the seat on being closest to 33 minutes will win the ticket to finale week. The other contestants will keep saying things to him/her to distract them to either give up before 33 minutes of much later than 33 minutes.

The first one to go and guard the clock is Deepak. One by one Surbhi, Sreesanth, Romil, Somi and Dipika come to the booth and start speaking against Deepak. Dipika vents her heart out on Deepak having problems with celebrities from day one inside the house and accusing the celebs of not performing and reaching so far in the show just because they have a fan following. When Surbhi goes inside the booth, Deepak gets up saying that he feels the time of 33 minutes is over.

Around 6 pm, Surbhi is the next one to go and sit in the chair. Surbhi had already counted that she has to sit there for about 1980 seconds. The first person to go inside the booth to say things about her is Somi who accuses her of backstabbing her repeatedly. Surbhi can be seen concentrating on her counting. Then Deepak goes next and starts criticising her saying a lot of things, accusing her of playing the woman card. Next Romil goes and says that he still considers her his sister from heart but accuses her of using him in the game. Next Sreesanth goes inside the booth and accuses her of doing wrong to Romil, adding about how he revealed his cricketing secrets for her sake and she never cared for anything and anyone in the game.

Next Dipika goes and exposes her fake façade which she has put on after Salman Khan questioned her loud behaviour in the house. Post that, Surbhi rings the bell and announces that she’s done with the time of 33 minutes.

The next one to go and sit on the chair is Dipika Kakar. Surbhi Rana is the first one to go inside the booth. She starts with a barrage of allegations on Dipika and calls her a spokesperson of another contestant. Dipika keeps on counting with a calm face while Surbhi keeps accusing her. Deepak is the next to go and first clarifies all that Dipika had said when he was sitting on the chair and goes on to say more mean things to her.

Then Romil goes next and calls her and her emotions fake. He keeps saying how she was mean when she had to give up the mattresses and others. Dipika finally gets up and rings up the bell.

Deepak’s time is over 9 minutes from 33 minutes. Surbhi’s time is about 5 minutes more than 33 minutes and Dipika’s time was about 12 minutes more than 33 minutes. Surbhi wins the ticket to finale week task and becomes the first contestant to enter the finale week.

Bigg Boss also announces that all the contestants apart from Surbhi, i.e., Sreesanth, Dipika Kakar, Karanvir Bohra, Somi Khan, Romil Chaudhary and Deepak Thakur get nominated for evictions this week. Post that, Surbhi heaves a sigh of relief. Later at night, Dipika is sitting near the exit gate with Sree and tells him that she’s utterly disappointed with herself in the task tonight. Sree tries to console her. Dipika is in tears while she says how important the show is for her which is why she has come, leaving her family.

Romil joins them and says no matter what, all the four members of the Happy Club are still there in the house and he’s proud that the Happy Club members are still alive. Sree asks him which Happy Club is he talking about? Romil says even though the original four members (Romil, Somi, Deepak and Surbhi) are no longer together as they were initially, the fact that they’re all still there in the show is commendable. Dipika says why does he need to say all this at this point of time? Sree asks Romil to get this moment framed and keep it with him when he goes out.

He goes to the bedroom and tells Deepak, Somi and others that he’s happy that Surbhi is the captain of the house again. He adds that it means a lot to him that all the four members of the Happy Club that was formed in the 6^th week are still very much there in the game and that he feels immensely proud. The episode comes to an end.
